We created ROKK for two reasons.
1. There was no dedicated Metal and Rock Streaming Service yet.
We are fans too, so we know that we never felt quite at home on the existing
platforms.
2. The model of the existing platforms favored mainstream artists over any Metal or
rock act in a way that wasn’t fair to both the artists and their fans.
With ROKK there is finally a platform that pays more money per stream and allows
fans to directly support their favorite bands.
We offer the same variety of genres and artists as all other platforms. So there are tons of non rock or metal artists on ROKK, as long as they make their music
available for streaming
With ROKK, the subscription money stays in the Metal and Rock community and is not being used to cross-finance payouts for afew mainstream acts with unbelievably high numbers of streams. This leads to a 2-3 times higher royalty payout.

Our goal is to ensure a steadily high payout for our artists, so that they finally get compensated fairly for their music. That’s why we are sticking to only two different plans at the moment. In the future, we might be able to offer other plans while still ensuring the fair royalty payments to our artists.
We get it. You have playlists you absolutely love. There’s no way you can live without them. Well, good news, you don’t have to! You can actually transfer your playlists from any other service over to ROKK and we created a specific upload tool just for that.
Just go to tunemymusic.com and export your playlist(s) as a csv file. After that you can upload the file here and your playlist is transferred to your ROKK account.

Nothing less than to start a revolution. Artists should finally be paid more money for their music. ROKK will do that with higher royalty payments and direct fan to artist support, aka “band dollars” in a fair and transparent way.
ROKK is a product of the German company FAIRMUSIC, founded by Peter Moog (guitarist & founder of Mentalist) and Alex Landenburg (drummer of Kamelot and Cyhra) in April 2020.

When we say community, we mean it. ROKK will give virtual shares of a percentage of the company to our artists, according to the number of users they bring in. We call these virtual shares “ROKK shares”. For more details, contact us at artist@rokk.app
Instead of investing the money in costly adverts, we at ROKK prefer to pay it to our artists. We believe that happy and successful artists will help spread the word about ROKK
Yes, from the moment one of your fans successfully signs up for a ROKK account through a link on your socials, we will pay you up to 10% of their monthly subscription fee for as long as they use ROKK. Email us to get your personalized invitation code and become a ROKK Featured Artist.
There is no exclusivity in music streaming anyway. You have worked hard to establish yourself on other platforms and you should be able to use all that are available to you. ROKK simply aims to be the most profitable platform for the whole Rock & Metal community and finally offer a really fair alternative to distribute your music and connect with your audience.
